Maddy Taylor is a clinical professional counseling intern currently finishing her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University. She has also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from University of Colorado Boulder. Her background includes extensive experience in community mental health groupwork, as well as an array of various roles in intensive outpatient programming.
Maddy is dedicated to working with others as they navigate life’s challenges. Empathy, authenticity, respect, and open-mindedness are the foundation of every session. In the therapy room, Maddy cultivates a warm, safe space in which clients are encouraged to come as they are. She empowers clients to reflect on themselves, their emotions, and their relationships while also collaborating with them to navigate the broader, intricate systems we all live within.
In session, Maddy takes a client-centered approach and tailors therapeutic interventions to best suit the unique needs of each client. She welcomes clients from all walks of life, and she is committed to providing compassionate, competent care to help clients enact lasting change in their lives.
