Hermione Montrowe is a clinical mental health counseling intern pursuing a Master’s in Social Work at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Previously, she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the same university.
Her background includes group work, interventions that consider the environmental, physical, social, and mental dimensions of health, and holistic programming. She has worked in elder care since age 18, supporting individuals living with chronic illnesses and navigating end-of-life care. In her former work at a Montessori-inspired elder care program, she brought Waldorf concepts to program design and group work through her client-tailored elder care program.
She is proficient in American Sign Language and experienced in working with Deaf clients, emphasizing linguistic and cultural respect. She welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds and is committed to compassionate, culturally responsive care that integrates holistic practices.
Hermione views the therapeutic relationship as collaborative and reciprocal, recognizing that clients bring valuable knowledge and lived experience into the counseling space.
Above all, she strives to accompany and support her clients throughout their journeys, whatever those journeys may bring.
