Emily is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the University of Colorado–Anschutz. She graduated with honors from Regis University in 2012 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Emily served four years in the U.S. Army as a registered nurse, achieving the rank of Captain. She has completed initial training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and General Psychiatric Management for Borderline Personality Disorder (GPM). Her goal is to integrate contemporary, evidence-based research into thoughtful, comprehensive treatment plans that honor each individual’s unique needs, challenges, and preferences.
With more than eleven years of nursing experience, Emily is known for her warm and calming presence. She meets patients where they are, fostering a collaborative, holistic approach that supports individuals in tapping into their own strengths and coping skills.
