Kenneth Subala

Kenneth Subala, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatric evaluation and treatment and comprehensive, holistic mental health care. With more than 13 years of nursing experience, he has worked in both public and private inpatient psychiatric settings, caring for adults and older adults with a wide range of mental and physical health needs.

Kenneth has a particular interest in helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, and substance use concerns. His approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized, recognizing that effective mental health care should consider the whole person – not simply a diagnosis.

Kenneth partners with each patient to develop a treatment plan that is safe, practical, and aligned with their individual needs and goals. He values building trusting therapeutic relationships and helping patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their care. Kenneth earned both his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. He is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care that supports meaningful and lasting improvements in his patients’ well-being.
