Kate Andres, LCSW

Kate Andres has been a social worker for 18 years providing therapy in various settings. She has worked in schools, hospitals, and shelters. Much of her work has been integrated so she feels comfortable enhancing clients’ care with a team based approach.

Her therapeutic style is to be open, empathetic and curious about clients, understanding that each person’s experience in life is unique. She believes strongly that to create meaningful connections with clients you need to build rapport slowly and intentionally. In her free time she enjoys writing and was recently published in The New Social Worker.

Kate is originally from Old Saybrook, Connecticut. She and her husband met in music school where she began as a voice major before switching to Psychology. She graduated with her Bachelor’s from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Masters in Social Work from The University of Connecticut. She moved to Colorado in 2007 and enjoys going on outdoor adventures and road trips with her family.
